For family law firms

More qualified divorce and custody consultations from Google

I help small and mid-sized family law firms show up when people search for a divorce, custody or child support lawyer nearby, with a website that feels calm, clear and trustworthy at a stressful moment.

The problem

Why family law firms struggle on Google

Your visitors are anxious, not shopping

People researching divorce or custody are stressed and often searching privately, late at night. A salesy site loses them; a calm site that answers their questions earns the call.

One "Family Law" page can't rank for everything

Divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, prenups and mediation are separate searches. Each needs its own page to rank and to reassure.

Directories and big firms take the clicks

Legal directories and large firms dominate generic searches. The Map pack and specific local searches are where a smaller firm gets ahead.

Too many poor-fit enquiries

Unqualified calls waste attorney time. Clear pages about fees, process and who you help filter enquiries before they reach you.

The plan

My plan for family law firms

Five steps, in the order that brings in more consultations fastest.

  1. Step 1

Pick your priority matters and areas

We focus on the matters you want more of, such as contested divorce, custody or high-asset cases, and the towns where your clients live.

  2. Step 2

    Optimize your Google Business Profile

Categories, services, office details, photos and a discreet review process that respects client privacy.

  3. Step 3

    Build matter and location pages

Divorce, custody, support, mediation and prenup pages written in plain, compassionate language, with clear next steps.

  4. Step 4

Make first contact easy and private

Short consultation forms, click-to-call and confidentiality notes, so nervous visitors feel safe reaching out.

  5. Step 5

    Track consultations by source

Calls and form enquiries tracked by page and search, so you know which matters and areas bring in signed clients.

Your website

Pages I build for family law firms

Every page targets a search your customers already make, answers their questions and makes the next step obvious. We start with the pages worth the most to you and add the rest month by month.

  • Divorce lawyer (contested and uncontested)
  • Child custody and parenting plans
  • Child support and spousal support
  • Mediation and collaborative divorce
  • Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
  • High-asset and business-owner divorce
  • Location pages for each county or town you serve
  • Fees and “what to expect” guides

Real results from real clients

My clearest results so far are with mortgage professionals: 12 of my 23 mortgage clients rank #1 in Google Maps for their main keyword in their own city, and all 23 are in the top 10. It’s the same Google Business Profile and local SEO system I’ll use to bring you more consultations.

Advertising rules for family law firms

Legal advertising rules differ by state, province and country: disclaimers, "specialist" and "expert" claims, results statements and testimonials. UK firms regulated by the SRA must display the SRA digital badge. I build pages with space for these elements and follow your bar or law society rules, but your firm remains responsible for final compliance review.

Your platform

On WordPress, Squarespace or Wix

I work on the platform you already use. I only recommend a rebuild or a move if your current site is costing you leads, and I protect your rankings if we do.

FAQ

Questions family law firms ask me

Can you help us attract better-fit cases, not just more calls?

Yes. Pages that explain your fees, process and the matters you focus on filter out poor-fit enquiries, and tracking shows which pages bring in the consultations you actually want.

How do you handle reviews when clients value privacy?

Many family law clients won't leave a review, and that's fine. I set up a discreet, optional request at the end of a matter and never ask clients to share case details. Your firm decides who to ask.

Will you follow our bar or law society advertising rules?

Yes. I build with common rules in mind, including disclaimers, results statements and specialist claims. Your firm remains responsible for final compliance review.

Do you write the content?

I draft every page in plain, compassionate English based on a short interview with you. You review and approve everything before it goes live.

How long until we see more consultations?

Google Business Profile and on-page fixes can help within weeks. Rankings for competitive terms like "divorce lawyer" usually build over 3–6 months.
